Since 2004, Collateral Verifications, Inc. has redefined Aerospace Valuation & Technical services. The dramatic growth of CV, Inc. resulted in the founding of CV LLC in 2008 to better address the requirements of many long standing Military & Commercial clients.

Gueric Dechavanne
Vice President, Commercial Aviation & Valuation Services

Gueric is the head of Commercial Aviation Services at Collateral Verifications, L.L.C. He is an ISTAT Certified Appraiser and graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Business Administration with a concentration in International Air Transportation Management. Gueric worked for CIT’s Corporate Aircraft Department in Phoenix, AZ Piston Aircraft Division sales before moving on to Eagle Aviation, Inc., a corporate aircraft sales company, as an Aircraft Researcher in the turboprop and jet markets.

In 2001, he joined CIT Aerospace as a Marketing Analyst, tracking aircraft values, industry trends, issues of concern to CIT's aircraft portfolio, as well as assisting the marketing department on special projects for the placement of new and used aircraft.

In 2004, he joined OAGBACK Aviation Solutions as the Manager of Valuation Services and was promoted to head their Asset Management group in 2006 where he managed all of the aspects of their valuations, technical, advisory, and aircraft remarketing services.

While at OAGBACK Aviation, he also developed and maintained their Commercial Jet Aircraft Value Guide and Commercial Jet Lease Rate Guide. As a recognized expert in his field, he has been published & quoted in such publications as the Chicago Tribune, Airline Fleet & Network Management, Airline Business, Air Transport World, Air Finance Journal, Air Cargo World, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Flight Global, MSNBC, and various other industry publications.

Mark Peterman Vice President, Technical Operations

Mark serves as the head of Technical Operations, Inventory Services, Inspections & Audits. Prior to joining CV LLC, Mark served as President and Founder of Collateral Verifications, Inc., formed shortly after his return from Iraq in 2004. The dramatic growth of CV Inc., resulted in the founding of CV LLC in 2008 to better address the requirements of many long standing Military & Commercial clients.

Mark's past executive positions include serving as President of Aviation Appraisal Corp. His 20 plus years of aviation experience includes 17 years with Delta Airlines TechOps, active duty military service in the US Marine Corps and later service as an embedded subject matter expert in the US Navy Civil Service for Marine Transport Squadron One. He has served tours in Iraq in the US Army Reserves and as a US Air Force contractor in the Predator UAV program.

Mark's appraisal & inspection project experience and areas of expertise include several complete MR&O facilities, large part inventories, military aircraft and hundreds of corporate & business aircraft. Mark has performed certified appraisals on aircraft in many of our nations aviation museums including aircraft on display at the Smithsonian Institution

John Meyers
Vice President, Sales & Repossessions

John Meyers is head of Sales and Business Development for Collateral Verifications LLC. John currently heads up the Aircraft Brokerage Division. John also has extensive knowledge of the commercial and military parts business on a global basis.

John provides a wealth of experience in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft sales on a worldwide basis. John understands that the sale or acquisition of business aircraft is an increasingly complex process, and requires considerable thought and knowledge of available options. The possibilities are endless and making the right choice is critical. John believes that to be successful, the right choice must be based on the best, most current information available. In addition, success requires an immediate response to today's ever-changing global marketplace. Whether buying or selling for our clients, John makes every effort to educate them on the realities of the market, what the value is of an aircraft, and the current demand from both the buying and selling sides of the transaction. John evaluates his clients' true needs, researches the marketplace and recommends the best possible aircraft. This experience gives John the ability to successfully market and acquire any aircraft or helicopter worldwide.

Stoney Conyers
General Manager, Technical Operations

Stoney Conyers has more than twenty five years of domestic and International progressive responsibilities including manufacturing, technical services, management, planning, consulting & sales in Business and Aerospace Industries. Former Military training and experience in both the U.S. Navy and Air Force. He has held various managerial and technical positions with such organizations as Aeromanagement Group, GE Government Services, Lockheed Aeromod, and Lockheed Space Operations.

Over the course of his career, Stoney Conyers has performed various technical projects on such aircraft as DC-8-9-10 series, Boeing 707, 727, 737, 767 series, Lockheed L-100, 188, 1011, C-130 series commercial aircraft, Cessna Citation, Learjet, Dassault Falcon, Raytheon, Gulfstream and Fokker F27 & F227, Bell helicopter 205, 206, 212 and Sikorsky, S-61 & 62, Sh-3, Hh-3, as well as Rockwell Space vehicles and Space shuttle maintenance.

Brian Byrne
Government Programs

Brian's background consists of Maintenance Test Pilot, Maintenance Manager, as well as an Instructor Pilot for both the OH-58A/C and OH-58D (Improved) Kiowa Warrior helicopters. In addition, he holds a commercial license for single and multi-engine aircraft and maintains an instrument rating. To date, he has amassed nearly 3000 flight hours.

During his tenure in Army Aviation, his experiences ranged from the management of maintenance programs for a tactically deployable Army aviation battalion to responsibilities for training power plant, airframe systems, weapons systems, and night vision goggle operations for novice pilots. Prior to his commission in the Warrant Officer Corps, he served in the Intelligence and Special Operations fields in the US Army.

He is a distinguished graduate from the Defense language Institute Foreign Language Center, Monterey California from both the basic and intermediate Korean Language Courses and an honor graduate from the Special Forces Qualification Course, Light weapons committee. BS Professional Aeronautics, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After completing 22 years of military service, he retired from the US Army in the grade of Chief Warrant Officer Three.

After his retirement from the US Army in 1999, he joined an aerospace firm as a Field engineer and Program manager. These duties included the development and management of several programs such as a sophisticated turbine engine performance analyzer for helicopters, an automated engine test system for the all US Army Aviation field engine test systems, and an Auxiliary Power Unit tester. At the time of his departure from this firm he had been promoted to manager responsible for overall sales efforts in the entire southeastern United States.
